little known facts:

[spanish. chemistry. history]

i love building book covers. i get super excited when old ones rip and fall off - cause that means its time for creation.

[only problem is... then it gets a lot harder to actually open the book cause you are busy looking at the cover.]

side note: book socks ruin creativity. so many opportunities to make great covers. so much potential thrown down the drain.
stupid elastic-strung convenience.

the spanish one never really got finished. i re-drew on the pencil a few times, and it kept rubbing off, so i figured it wasn't worth it.

the middle one is some paint pens and sharpies and such. thats kinda my signature thing, i guess. the tree with a box head.

the last one took forever. i started out weaving together newspaper and gluing it on. at the very end... it looked totally stupid. 'i spent two hours on this?' after school the next day, i was showing it to lan, and got kinda embarresed - so i started ripping off the newspaper. the finished result: major improvement.

over the course of the next few weeks - i start detailing all the gaps. theres a different design in each one. def my favorite.

book covers are great.

got any good books that need to be covered?

Possible career as the president of the Book Cover Company. Hey, you'd get to live in Autralia at least!
